JAFA has developed a new 4 minute video resource to support primary school teachers understand the impact of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and childhood rheumatic diseases (CRDs) on students’ learning and participation in the classroom and playground. The video describes common symptoms such as pain, fatigue, joint stiffness and provides guidance for supporting students with JIA and other CRDs. The video is designed for parents to share with their child’s teacher when and as they see fit.
